Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2746714A2] The container (2) has a container housing (4) provided with a mounted canister for supporting a missile. A moving unit moves the canister from a storage position to an operating position. The moving unit is provided with a kinematic linkage for pivoting the canister, where the linkage is fixed to the housing with pivot points. The moving unit is provided with two housing-fixed axes and two pivot axes that are provided with a holding unit for holding the canister. A rear wall of the housing is arranged between a container end and a container interior in the operating position. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a missile container.
