Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2746715A2] The container (2) has a canister (20) for supporting a missile arranged in a storage position in container housing (4). A movement mechanism (26) moves canister from storage position into an operating position for holding canister partially outside the container housing in operating position. A container roof (14) is closed for outwardly shielding a container interior when the canister is in the operating position. An independent claim is included for a method of operation of missile container.
