Abstract (en)

The electrical switchgear (1) has housing (3) which is provided with two switching chambers having contact portions to interrupt a current path. A guide channel is provided within the housing and is extended from an arc extinguishing device provided in each switching chamber, for supplying arc gases in the direction of a blow-out opening (14,15) which deflects the outlet of arc gases from the housing. The different guide channels are provided in each switching chambers, such that switching chambers are separated from each other.
