[origin: WO2013030106A1] The invention relates to a wheel for a motor vehicle, comprising a wheel body (3) having a rim band (7) for accommodating a tire and comprising a rim star (9) or a wheel disk, wherein passage openings (13) for fasteners for fastening the wheel to a hub on the motor vehicle are formed in the rim star (9) or in the wheel disk. The wheel (1) is made of a polymer material, and at least one reinforcing element (29; 33) is accommodated in the rim band (7) for reinforcement.
