[origin: WO2013030257A2] The invention relates to a knitwear item, or a portion thereof, comprising a pectoral region configured to be placed at the user's chest, in which there is defined a central zone and two side zones substantially symmetric with respect to said central zone. Each of said side zones comprises a lower portion and an upper portion, having knitted fabric with modified interlacing. In a further aspect thereof, the invention relates to a method of fabricating, at industrial level,the aforesaid knitwear item, or a portion thereof.
