Abstract (en)

A cable transportation system trolley has: a frame (11; 111; 211) connectable to a haul cable (5) of a cable transportation system (1); and at least one pair of auxiliary drive members (15; 115; 215) having respective friction surfaces (20a; 120a; 220a) designed to engage drive wheels (7) of an auxiliary drive device (6) of a cable transportation system (1). The auxiliary drive members (15; 115; 215) are connected pivotally to the frame (11; 111; 211).
