[origin: WO2013029779A2] The invention relates to a furniture unit (1) having a box-shaped frame structure (2) delimited by two side panels (4), wherein one side panel (4) comprises at least two functional profiles (5, 6), on which hardware profiles (7) are arranged in order to mount furniture components (8) and in particular bottom parts thereon. One of the two functional profiles (5, 6) serves as the front functional profile and the other one as the rear functional profile. The hardware profile (7) extends between the front functional profile (5) and the rear functional profile (6) and is supported by both functional profiles (5, 6). A first peg (9) extends from one of the two functional profiles (5, 6) to a first slot (11) of the hardware profile. A second peg (10) vertically offset thereto extends from one of the two functional profiles (5, 6) to a second slot (12) of the hardware profile (7) in order to support the hardware profile (7).
