[origin: WO2013032246A2] Disclosed are a bulletproof fabric and a method for producing the same that exhibit improved anti-traumaproperty and minimize deterioration in bulletproofness even after use under harsh conditions for a long period of time. The bulletproof fabric includes a fabric comprising at least one high-strength fiber selected from the group consisting of a high molecular weight polyethylene fiber, an aramid fiber, and a polybenzoxazole fiber, and a water repellent layer disposed on the high-strength fiber, wherein the water repellent layer is formed by treating the fabric with a water-repellent agent comprising fluorocarbon and a hardness-enhancing resin, and the hardness-enhancing resin is a polyvinyl acetate resin, a polyester resin, a polyacrylate resin, a melamine resin, or a mixture of two or more thereof.
