The device (11) has a jaw (22) and a base (21) provided with central openings to allow passage of a machining tool. The base is pivoted under an action of a displacement unit around a rotation axis parallel to a bearing surface (S) to position the base in a first machining position in which machining of an upper surface of a blank (E) is carried-out through the central opening of the jaw and another machining position in which machining of a lower surface of the blank is carried-out through the central opening of the base. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a processing machine (2) a method for machining a blank of a watch-making plate.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de fixation (11) par serrage d'une ébauche (E) de pièce à usiner sur un socle (21), ladite ébauche (E) étant plate ou sensiblement plate et possédant une face inférieure (Fi), une face supérieure (Fs) et au moins une face latérale (FI), ledit socle (21) possédant au moins une surface d'appui (S) sur laquelle repose la face inférieure (Fi) de ladite ébauche (E), ledit dispositif (11) comportant au moins une mâchoire (22) reliée au socle (21) et mobile selon une direction (ZZ') perpendiculaire à ladite surface d'appui (S) entre une position desserrée, dans laquelle l'ébauche (E) peut se déplacer par rapport au socle (21), et une position serrée, dans laquelle la mâchoire (22) plaque l'ébauche (E) contre la surface d'appui (S), caractérisé en ce que la mâchoire (22) et le socle (21) sont munis chacun d'au moins une ouverture centrale (21 e, 22e) adaptée pour permettre le passage d'un outil d'usinage (12) et en ce que le socle (21) est apte à pivoter sous l'action de moyens de déplacement autour d'un axe de rotation (XX') parallèle à la surface d'appui (S) de manière à se positionner respectivement selon une première position d'usinage, dans laquelle l'usinage de la face supérieure (Fs) de l'ébauche (E) peut être effectué à travers l'ouverture centrale (22e) de la mâchoire (22), et une seconde position d'usinage, dans laquelle l'usinage de la face inférieure (Fi) de l'ébauche (E) peut être effectué à travers l'ouverture centrale (21 e) du socle (21).
