[origin: EP2752946A1] The connector (R) has connection elements (100, 200) coupled to one another according to a coupling axis. A locking mechanism comprises a locking pin (104) arranged on a body of one of the connection elements. A locking ring (216) is rotatably mounted around a body of another connection element, and comprises a locking groove (218) with an outlet (236) and a locking notch (238). A safety ring (220) is pushed back by the locking pin, where an axis of travel (X4-X4) of the pin intersects the outlet over the entire rotation range of the locking ring in indexed configuration of the bodies.
