Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2013034540A1] The invention relates to a laminar sealing tape for sealing the region of a wall structure, for example, for covering the transition region of a support structure and an adjacent region of the wall structure, more particularly a facade, wherein the sealing tape has two longitudinal edges and is provided with or can be provided with an adhesive, distributed sectionally in the longitudinal direction of the strip, said adhesive being capable of adhering the sealing tape to a component in the region of the wall structure, wherein the sealing tape has a first strip from an expandable and tear-resistant material (first material) that extends in the longitudinal direction of the tape. According to the invention, the sealing tape also has a second strip that extends in the longitudinal direction of the tape, wherein relative to the width of the tape, the first strip and the second strip are arranged adjacent at least sectionally. The first strip has a water vapour diffusion resistance, which is at least 10% higher than that of the second strip. The second strip has an Sd value of less than 20 m. The tensile strength and/or the elongation at break of the first strip are higher than that of the second strip.
