The device also comprises an operating unit (130) for determining a virtual position of one or more virtual walls. The module (110) for calculating wave field information is designed to calculate the wave field synthesis information based on the virtual position of the one or more virtual walls. Further, the virtual position can be adjusted by the operating unit (130) for at least one of the virtual walls.
