[origin: WO2013034326A1] The invention relates to an assembly (1; 1') for a discharge lamp, comprising a lamp vessel unit (100), a sleeve (120) that surrounds the lamp vessel unit (100) with a force fit, a fixing ring (130) that is provided for fixing the assembly (1; 1') to a base (2) of the discharge lamp, and tabs (142, 143, 144, 145; 142') for fixing the sleeve (120) to the fixing ring (130). The tabs (142, 143, 144, 145; 142') are fixed to a lower face (131) of the fixing ring (130), said lower face facing the base (2) of the discharge lamp in the assembled state. The invention further relates to a discharge lamp, in particular a high-pressure discharge lamp for motor vehicle headlights, comprising such an assembly.
