The method involves arranging a receiving vessel (13) at an underside of a ceiling element (11) so as to form at the underside of the ceiling element an installation cavity opening in a direction of an installation space of a turnstile (12). A flat-cylindrical, electronically commutated multipole motor (14) is inserted into the installation cavity to form a drive unit (10). An independent claim is included for drive unit assembly.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Anordnung einer Antriebseinheit (10) in einer Karusselltür (100), wobei die Antriebseinheit (10) an einem Deckenelement (11) der Karusselltür (100) angeordnet wird und zum Antrieb eines Drehkreuzes (12) der Karusselltür dient, wenigstens umfassend die folgenden Schritte: - Anbringen eines Aufnahmetopfes (13) an die Unterseite des Dockenelementes (11), sodass eine in Richtung zum Einbauraum des Drehkreuzes (12) sich öffnende Einbaumulde (19) unterseitig am Deckenelement (11) gebildet wird und - Einsetzen eines flachzylinderförmigen, elektronisch kommutierten Vielpolmotors (14) in die Einbaumulde (19) zur Bildung der Antriebseinheit (10).
