The radiant heating pipe (1) has a tubular body (2) having a central portion (8) and a recycle portion (19) that is arranged next to the central portion, where a free longitudinal end (9), opposite to another longitudinal end (3) of the radiant heating pipe is arranged in a wall (4) of an industrial furnace. The free longitudinal end has an opening (7), where an inner wall (21) of the radiant heating pipe is partially covered at the free longitudinal end with a thermal insulation (22).

Bei einem Strahlheizrohr (1, 1', 1", 1"') zur indirekten Beheizung eines Industrieofens, das einen Rohrkörper (2), der einen Mittelabschnitt (8) und zumindest einen neben dem Mittelabschnitt (8) angeordneten Rückführungsabschnitt (19, 19') umfasst, und wenigstens einen zur Abstützung oder Aufhängung eines freien Längsendes (9) des Strahlheizrohres (1, 1', 1", 1"') dienenden Ansatz (20), der an dem freien Längsende (9) außenseitig an dem Strahlheizrohr (1, 1', 1", 1"') vorgesehen ist, aufweist, soll eine Lösung geschaffen werden, die auf konstruktiv einfache Weise ein Strahlheizrohr bereitstellt, welches insbesondere im Bereich seiner Abstützung oder Aufhängung eine verbesserte Festigkeit bei hohen Arbeitstemperaturen aufweist. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, dass die Innenwandung (21) des Strahlheizrohres (1, 1', 1", 1"') an dem freien Längsende (9) zumindest abschnittsweise mit einer thermischen Isolierung (22) überdeckt ist.
