The exhaust hood has an inner chimney housing (2), an outer chimney housing (3) and a suction housing (4), where a distance element (10) is provided for forming a shadow gap between a ceiling surface and an upper edge area (9) of the pushed outer chimney housing at the upper side of an upper support frame portion. The distance element is fixed at the upper side of the upper support frame portion and is screwed with the upper support frame portion.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Dunstabzugshaube insbesondere Inselhaube (1), umfassend ein Innenkamingehäuse (2), ein Außenkamingehäuse (3) und ein Absauggehäuse (4), wobei das Innenkamingehäuse (2) einen unteren, das Absauggehäuse (4) haltenden Traggestellteil (5) und einen oberen Traggestellteil (6), welcher an einer Deckenfläche (7) befestigbar ist, aufweist, und wobei das Außenkamingehäuse (4) auf das Innenkamingehäuse (2) aufschiebbar ist. Erfindungsgemäß ist zur Bildung einer Schattenfuge (8) zwischen der Deckenfläche (7) und dem oberen Randbereich (9) des aufgeschobenen Außenkamingehäuses (4) an der Oberseite des oberen Traggestellteils (6) ein Distanzelement (10) vorgesehen.
