Abstract (en)
The support has a cylindrical or conical body (1) comprising opposed extreme areas (2, 3) along a longitudinal extension direction of the body. The body includes a reception unit for receiving ends of connection unit e.g. screw or bolt, for connecting the body to electricity conducting parts. The reception unit includes housings (10) provided with openings (12) on a lateral side of the body for joining the extreme areas. The housings are delimited by a perforated partition (14) for passage of a stem of connection and retaining unit of a prominent end of the connection unit.

Cet isolateur-support comprend un corps (1) dont les régions extrêmes (2, 3) sont munies de logements (10) à ouverture latérale (12) pour recevoir des inserts métalliques (5) qui y sont introduits après avoir été fabriqués, séparément, puis retenus par les efforts de serrage sans qu'il soit besoin de fixer les inserts (5) dans le corps (1). La fabrication est simplifiée et le recyclage de l'isolateur-support est plus facile à la fin de son service. Application au support de conducteurs de l'électricité à moyenne tension dans desappareillages électriques, notamment avec enveloppe.
