[origin: US2014319189A1] An child carrier includes a main body and left and right shoulder straps connected to the body. The carrier comprises a waist strap connected to a lower side of the body, wherein the body provides a torso supporting portion and a seating portion. The seating portion comprises one or more adjustment portions which are adjustable to a first configuration, the seating portion having a first width and in the second configuration, the seating portion is partly narrowed. In another aspect, the child carrier comprises left and right cross straps connected with the left (right) side of the body and/or the left (right) shoulder strap, wherein the left (right) side of the body and/or the left (right) shoulder strap comprise at least one left (right) fastener, for fastening the right and left cross straps to a left and a right fastener, respectively.
