[origin: WO2013037442A1] The invention relates to a method for treating packaging means (3) by applying decorative features or decorations to the packaging means (3), in particular to bottles or similar containers, wherein in addition to at least one main decoration (2.1) at least one detachable part-label (2.2) furnished with an additional decoration or with partial decoration is applied to each packaging means (3) with an adhesive strength that is less than the adhesive strength of the main decoration (2.1) on the respective packaging means (3), wherein the respective part-label (2.2) is provided on a region of the main decoration (2.1) and occupies part of the surface area of the main decoration (2.1). After the application to a packaging means (3), at least the respective part-label (2.2) is printed by a digital printing process, preferably multi-colour, in particular by means of a digital inkjet printing method.
