The invention also relates to a displacement measuring device for such a master or slave cylinder (100), comprising a magnet device (144) and a sensor device (148), in which the magnet device is arranged in an inner chamber section (114) in which no spring device (136) is arranged in order to reduce an installation space requirement and/or to increase measuring accuracy.
