[origin: WO2013037829A1] A method is disclosed for synchronizing network subscribers (6-12) in an on-board network (2) of a vehicle, the method comprising: receiving a message (44) dependent on a first clock (20) present in a first network subscriber (6) by at least one second network subscriber (8-12) if a predetermined condition (42, 50) has been satisfied, and synchronizing a second clock (22-26) in the second network subscriber (8-12) on the basis of the message (44) dependent on the first timer (20) if the predetermined condition (42, 50) has been satisfied.
