Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2757036A2] The method involves docking watercraft (10) to offshore installation (11), by providing positive connection between bridge element (17) of watercraft and component of offshore installation. The watercraft is docked to offshore installation through frictional docking of bugs (12) of watercraft to offshore installation. A free end (21) of bridge element associated with friction engaging unit (22) is pressed against the offshore installation. An independent claim is included for an apparatus for provision of transition between watercraft and offshore installation.
