Abstract (en)
A capsule (1) for the preparation of a beverage comprises a lateral wall (2), a water inlet wall (3) and a lower wall (4) forming a hollow body (5) having a substantially central axis (A), the capsule further comprising at least one sunken portion (10) arranged within said inlet wall (3), wherein said at least one sunken portion (10) corresponds to a protrusion (11) inside the hollow body (5) of the capsule. Said at least one sunken portion (10) comprising at least one surface (12) lying on a plane (P) or containing at least one axis (B) that maintains a constant angle of inclination (±) with respect to said central axis (A) of the capsule or with respect to a vertical axis parallel to said central axis (A).
