Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2757190A2] The apparatus has a steam generator i.e. vessel, and an iron comprising a flat sole that is formed with steam output holes. A heating body (5) connected to the sole includes an upper face comprising a steam distribution circuit conveying a steam flow produced by the generator toward distribution openings (54) communicating with steam spray chamber. The iron includes a steam deflector (4) interposed between the body and the sole with respect to one of the openings. The deflector deviates the steam flow from the openings to direct the steam along a direction approaching a plane of the sole.
