Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2757309A2] The module (1) has a housing (2) comprising a housing section (20). A support plate (3) is accommodated within the housing, where multiple LEDs (4) are arranged on the support plate. A control unit actuates the LEDs and is accommodated within the housing. Two electrical connection cables are connectable to an electrical supply unit that is attached to the control unit. The housing section comprises an external thread (20'), where a lamp component e.g. glass, reflector, lamp fixture, decoration element and cooling body, is fastenable at the thread by a screw connection. The housing is made of ceramic material and comprises a base that is made of plastic material. An independent claim is also included for a lamp.
