[origin: EP2757336A2] The heat exchanger (1) has a fluid channel (10) for a fluid with a fluid inlet (11) and a fluid outlet (12) and another fluid channel (20) for another fluid with another fluid inlet (21) and another fluid outlet (22). The latter fluid channel is branched into two sub channels (23,24) from behind. The two sub channels are merged in front of the latter fluid outlet of the latter fluid channel to a collecting channel (25), which runs in a section (A1) transverse to the former fluid channel and is arranged closer to the former fluid inlet of the former fluid channel. The former sub-channel runs in another section (A2) transverse to the former fluid channel, where the latter section is arranged closer to the fluid inlet of the former fluid channel. An independent claim is included for a heater with a combustion chamber.
