Abstract (en)
The apparatus has a mobile rack (12) that comprises a receiving compartment (20) which is configured for receiving a cashbox (22). A drive unit (26) is configured for moving the rack between a checkout area and a back office of a retail company. A navigation unit (32) is configured for determining a travel path of the rack. The rack has an infrared transmitter and/or receiver (24) that is configured for transmitting the data to and from the cashbox in the receiving compartment.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung (10) zum autonomen Transport von Geldkassetten (22) zwischen einem vorbestimmten ersten Ort (102) und mindestens einem vorbestimmten zweiten Ort (104, 106). Die Vorrichtung (10) umfasst ein mobiles Rack (12), das mindestens ein Aufnahmefach (20) zur Aufnahme einer Geldkassette (22) und eine Antriebseinheit (26) zum Bewegen des Racks (12) hat. Ferner umfasst die Vorrichtung (10) eine Navigationseinheit (14, 32) zum Ermitteln des Fahrweges des Racks (12). Das Rack (12) hat eine Sende- und/oder Empfangseinheit (24) zum Senden von Daten an eine in dem Aufnahmefach (20) aufgenommene Geldkassette (22) und/oder zum Empfangen von von einer in dem Aufnahmefach (20) aufgenommenen Geldkassette (22) ausgesandten Daten.
