[origin: EP2759216A1] The device (10) has a feeding device (13) for feeding filled articles and an upwardly open full tray (11A) in transport direction (TAB). A transport unit (16) for transporting empty trays (11B) in transport direction, is arranged above feeding device. A transfer device (17) has a pivot mechanism (18) whose pivot motion is limited to 180[deg] about fixed pivot axis, a pivoting swivel cassette (19) for fixing, panning and releasing full tray independently from the pivot mechanism and an acting lift device (20) for fixing, linear processing and sharing empty trays. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a production arrangement; and (2) a method for automatic emptying of containers with articles-filled trays in multi-segment filter manufacturing machine.
