Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2759508A1] The magnet (1) has a rotor rotated relative to a stator by a hydraulic rotary drive (40) from a receiving position into a release position. Permanent magnetic elements of the stator and the rotor provide a magnetic force for receiving a load at an attachment element (35) in the receiving position. The magnetic force is reduced for releasing the load in the release position. One of the magnetic elements is connected to the other magnetic element in a main direction of the force on the load, and lies between the latter magnetic element and the attachment element. An independent claim is also included for a lifting magnet unit.
