[origin: EP2759711A2] The apparatus has an air duct element (12) comprising a housing (13) in which a device (17) e.g. ventilator (20), is arranged, where gaseous medium flows through the device. An intake nozzle (18) is aligned at a front end (14) of the housing. A discharge nozzle is aligned at another front end (15) of the housing. A front wall (21) comprises an inlet opening (22), and another front wall comprises an outlet opening attached to the discharge nozzle. The inlet and outlet openings form a flow channel with a housing section, where the channel is enclosed by the housing. The ventilator is designed as a diagonal ventilator, radial ventilator or axial ventilator. The housing section is made from plastic, metal sheet or composite material.
