Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2759822A1] The method involves measuring a position of dots of remaining unprocessed surface areas of a reference workpiece i.e. crankshaft, relative to imbalance reference axis. Expressions of imbalance effect are calculated from deviation between a blank surface and a reference partial surface resulting imbalance effect relative to the reference axis by a layer of a main inertia axis of an accepted workpiece. Processing axles are computed by adding an offset to the layer of the main inertia axis, which is empirically determined upon measured imbalances of the workpieces relative to workpiece axles. An independent claim is also included for a device for determining processing axles of a rotatable workpiece slug.
