Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2013045711A1] The invention relates to a method for metering a working fluid, comprising the following method steps: A. providing the working fluid (1, 1 ') within a pressure-stable and dimensionally rigid pumping chamber (3, 3'); B. feeding a predetermined volume of an incompressible pumping fluid (6, 6') into the pumping chamber (3, 3') by means of a metering pump (5), wherein, at an interface in the pumping chamber (3, 3") between the pumping fluid (6, 6') and the working fluid, which interface divides the pumping chamber (3, 3') into a pumping fluid region and a working fluid region, I. a flexible diaphragm forming the interface is arranged in the pumping chamber (3, 3'), or II. the pumping fluid (6, 6') is directly adjacent to the working fluid at the interface, and the working fluid (1, 1') is dispensed from at least one working fluid opening (4, 4') in the pumping chamber (3, 3') by the working fluid (1, 1') being displaced in the pumping chamber (3, 3') by the pumping fluid (6, 6') being fed in. The invention furthermore relates to a device for metering a working fluid.
