[origin: WO2013044939A1] The present invention relates to a structural building product comprising a succession of longitudinal components formed parallel to one another end to end and made of a fibrous material essentially made up of natural fibres. The components are joined together with an adhesive agent and using multiple male and female splines that alternate on the faces of the butt ends of the components. In each of two lateral and opposing parts of the butt end face of a component, each part covering at least one quarter of the total surface of the face of the butt end of a component, the layout of the male and female splines is such that the successive male splines have ends formed in a first imaginary plane. The first imaginary plane runs at an angle to a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the component.
