[origin: WO2013113366A1] The invention relates to a method for operating a processor, in which a first program (10) is provided comprising a first sequence of commands (32), at least one second program (12) is provided comprising a second sequence of commands (24), said first program (10) comprising a time-critical section (52) with time-critical commands (20), the commands (20, 24, 32) from said first and second programs (10, 12) are processed in a processor pipeline (18), a start time is identified for said time-critical section (52) in the first program (10), and a predefined interrupt program (26) is incorporated into said at least one second program (12) once the start time of the time-critical section (52) in the first program (10) has been identified.
