[origin: EP2762234A1] The sanitary insertion unit (1) has an insert housing (2), in which two flow paths (3,4) are formed. The two flow paths extend between an inflow-side inlet opening (5) and a downstream outlet end (6). A valve body (8) is adjustable from one switching state into another switching state against a restoring force. A flow obstruction (9) arranged in the former flow path is formed at the valve body. The former flow path is flow-throughable in the two switching states. The valve body is formed of an elastic material, particularly silicone or thermoplastic elastomer.
