[origin: EP2762246A2] The straightening machine has rotatable directing element (3) in which straightening jaws (23,23') are radially displaceable by the axially displaceable wedge surfaces (22) in operative engagement with the associated control surfaces (21,21') of the straightening jaws (23'), and intermediate insert unit (24). The directing element surrounded by an axially movable sleeve (4), is provided with a base (5) and a lockable lid (6). The wedge surfaces are formed at the base and lid over axially displaceable assigned apertures protruded along the directing element.
