Abstract (en)

To provide an air conditioning indoor unit that can deliver a flow of outlet air more widely in a right and left direction. A wall-mounted air conditioning indoor unit (4) is equipped with a body casing (5) and an air flow direction adjustment unit (6). The body casing (5) has an outlet air passage (8) for conditioned air. The air flow direction adjustment unit (6) is placed in the neighborhood of an exit of the outlet air passage (8) and has outside vertical flaps (61) and inside vertical flaps (62) that adjust the direction of air flow. The outside vertical flaps (61) positioned closest to first side walls (87) of the outlet air passage (8) have, in a state in which they are postured closer to the first side walls (87) the further they are on a downstream side of an air flow of the conditioned air, sections in which gaps between central sections (61 a) that are parts of end portions on the downstream side and the first side walls (87) are equal to or less than 10 mm and in which gaps between upper sections (61 b) and lower sections (61c) that are outside the central sections (61 a) of the end portions on the downstream side and the first side walls (87) are greater than 10 mm.
