[origin: EP2763327A1] For performing lattice reduction, a receiver device receiving complex symbols from at least one transmitter device via a multiple-input multiple-output flat fading channel performs: obtaining a first channel matrix representing the multiple-input multiple-output channel between the at least one transmitter device and the receiver device for a first time and/or frequency resource; obtaining a result of a first lattice reduction for the first channel matrix; obtaining a second channel matrix representing the multiple-input multiple-output channel between the at least one transmitter device and the receiver device for a second time and/or frequency resource; performing a second lattice reduction for the second channel matrix, on the basis of the second channel matrix, of the first channel matrix and of the result of the first lattice reduction.
