Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2013050100A1] The invention relates to a piston arrangement (12) for a combustion chamber, in particular a cylinder, having a variable compression ratio, of an internal combustion engine, which comprises a piston (14), a device (36) for variably adjusting the compression ratio associated with the combustion chamber, and a piston rod (10) which is coupled to the piston (14) by means of connecting areas (22, 24), and via which the piston (14) can be coupled to a connecting rod (16) of the internal combustion engine. Said device (36) comprises the piston rod (10) which has at least one eccentric element (23) which is eccentrically arranged in relation to the connecting area (22) of the piston rod (10) and via which the piston rod (10) can be coupled to the connecting rod (16).
