[origin: WO2013049870A1] The present invention relates to an attachment firing apparatus (2), in particular a grenade launcher, for mounting on the barrel (1) of a firearm, having an anchoring part (3) that can be fixedly mounted on the firearm and a support part (4) that can be detachably connected to the anchoring part by way of a coupling (16). A launch tube (9) can be opened and closed relative to a breech (8) in the support part, wherein the coupling (16) is locked in the closed position of the launch tube (9) and breech (8), and can be detached in the open position of same.
