The utility object is made of multiple sheet-like pieces of material (3a,3b), which are arranged adjacent to each other in a common main plane and joined together, particularly sewn, at their mutually contacting edge regions (4a,4b). Projections (5) of one material piece rest on the outside (8) of the edge region in the region of recesses (6) of another material piece, where the projections are connected to material pieces.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine spezielle Art der Verbindung zweier flächiger Materialteile ( 3 a, b) miteinander, wie sie bei Bekleidungsstücken, Schuhen, Handtaschen usw. häufig benötigt wird: Dabei werden die gegeneinander gerichteten Randbereiche ( 4 a, b) der beiden zu verbindenden Materialteile ( 3 a, b) gezinkt gestaltet, und mit ihren Verzinkungen ineinander verschränkt und in diesem verschränktem Zustand miteinander verbunden, beispielsweise vernäht.
