[origin: EP2764927A1] The method involves providing a first active substance textile material strand (T), and active substance to be treated. The textile material strip is engaged with a treated wire (D), such that process zone is formed. The textile material and to be treated wire are engaged with each other, such that a relative motion between the textile material strand and the treated wire are executing in the process zone. A liquid extraction medium is introduced in the textile material strands in front of the process zone, such that the active agent is extracted from the textile material strand. An independent claim is included for an apparatus for treating wire having active substance.
