Abstract (en)
A selective one-way wrench includes a head (20), a rotor (30), a switch (41), a pawl (60) and a torque spring (50). The head includes a first cavity (21) defined therein, a second cavity (22) in communication with the first cavity, and a third cavity (24) in communication with the second cavity. The rotor (30) is rotationally placed in the first cavity and formed with a gear (34). The switch (41) includes a body (45) pivotally inserted in the third cavity (24), a recess (47) defined in the body, and a bore (48) in communication with the recess. The pawl (60) is movably placed in the second cavity (22) and formed with a plurality of teeth (62) engaged with the gear (34) and a groove (67) defined therein. The torque spring (50) includes a helical portion (51) placed in the recess (47), a first rectilinear end (53) extending into the groove (67) from the helical portion (51), and a second rectilinear end (54) extending into the bore (48) from the helical portion.
