[origin: EP2765007A1] Heat-sensitive recording material comprises a substrate, and a recording layer comprising one or more dye precursor, N-(p-toluenesulfonyl)-N'-3-(p-toluenesulfonyl-oxyphenyl)urea and one or more condensation product comprising a phenol compound (I). Heat-sensitive recording material comprises a substrate, and a recording layer comprising one or more dye precursor, N-(p-toluenesulfonyl)-N'-3-(p-toluenesulfonyl-oxyphenyl)urea, and one or more condensation products comprising a phenol compound of formula (I). R1 : halo, OH, 1-5C alkyl, 1-5C alkoxy, CN, nitro, aryl or alkaryl; R2 : H, 1-5C alkyl or aryl; and m, n : 0-3. An independent claim is included for use of (I) for improving a resistance of the heat-sensitive recording material, whose recording layer comprises a color developer of N-(p-toluenesulfonyl)-N'-3-(p-toluenesulfonyl-oxyphenyl) urea, obtainable by thermal expression to substances consisting of water, alcohols, fats, and/or oils.
