[origin: EP2765251A1] The thermal insulation composite has two insulation material units with length-, hight- and width expansion and an edge profile partially along the length- and width-expansion. The adjacent insulation material units are glued along the edge profile with a binder-containing adhesive composition. The adhesive layer (12) formed from the composition is capillary active in the cured state and extends from one side to another side of the thermal insulation composite. Two adjacent insulation materials are made of foam products. The foam products is formed of foam glass. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing a thermal insulation composite.
