[origin: EP2581180A1] The trimmer has a comb (3) equipped with a working window (6) of a cutting system (7). The comb is pivotally mounted on a support. A knob adjusts height of the cutting system. A collaboration unit is provided between the knob and the comb to convert a rotational movement of the knob into a translational movement of the comb. The collaboration unit comprises a helicoid groove (10) that is formed in an interior face of the knob. A protuberance (11) is positioned on the comb, or an adapter that connects the comb to the knob.
