[origin: WO2013053915A1] The present invention relates to a connector system comprising: - an electrical device (1 ) with at least one respective base, - at least one connector assembly having a first connector part (2) and a second connector part (3), wherein the first connector part (2) and the second connector part (3) are adapted to connect with each other in a connection direction and, wherein the first connector part (2) is associated with the respective base on which it mates. The connector system comprises a first coding module (10) arranged between the respective base of the electrical device (1) and the first connector part (2), wherein the first coding module (10) prevents the first connector part (2) from mating with any other base than the respective base.
