The movable partition wall (S) has two plate elements (1,1') that are provided with the side margin profiles (2,2'). The side margin profiles are connected with each other to define a common division plane (T) in use position. The two-portion connecting unit (E) is provided in the region of the common division plane, such that a locking retainer and an insertable plug-in element are respectively formed in the side margin profiles of the plate elements and are positively connected to each other in use position.

Stellwände für einen Raumteiler, eine Werbetafel o. dgl. Funktionswände werden aus zumindest zwei Plattenelementen (1, 1') aufgebaut. Diese sind im Bereich aneinanderlegbarer Seitenrandprofile (2, 2') verbindbar, so dass damit in Gebrauchsstellung eine gemeinsame Teilungsebene (T) definiert wird. Das erfindungsgemäße System zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass im Bereich der gemeinsamen Teilungsebene (T) nunmehr zumindest eine im Wesentlichen zweiteilige Verbindungseinheit (E) vorgesehen ist. Diese Verbindungseinheit (E) ist wechselseitig mit jeweils zumindest einer Verriegelungsaufnahme (3) und zumindest einem in diese einführbaren Steckelement (4) versehen, so dass die Plattenelemente (1, 1') im Bereich der Seitenrandprofile (2, 2') formschlüssig miteinander verbindbar sind.
