Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2767775A2] The method involves operating each of the smoke-heat extraction-subsystems (12a,12b,12c) in an individually predetermined operating mode in a ventilation operation mode, and operating each of the smoke-heat extraction-subsystems in a specified operating mode in a smoke extraction operation mode. A control signal connection (20) is monitored for its functionality for the transmission of alarm switching signals when the smoke-heat extraction system (10) is operated in the ventilation operation mode. An independent claim is included for a smoke-heat extraction system with a monitoring device.
