[origin: EP2767795A2] The method involves providing an operating unit (28) for signaling purposes to a dormant missile (4). A control unit (14) is arranged in the dormant missile e.g. combat missile. The control unit is arranged for performing control of a set of operating functions. Data is exchanged between the operating unit and the control unit. The control unit is connected with transmitting and receiving units (26a, 26b) over a line (24). Data between the control unit and the operating unit are transmitted in a wireless manner from the transmitting and receiving units. An independent claim is also included for a missile system.
